1.COMPETITION REGULATION

The 2016 Powerlifting World Cup will follow Technical and Competition Rules and Regulations(TCRR)

of the GLOBAL POWERLIFTING ALLIANCE (GPA/IPO&GPA-D). Athletes compete in powerlifting, benchpress deadlift & push-pull. raw and equip.

2.TERMSAND CONDITION OF PARTICIPATION

Participant countries have to submit information about their athletes to the host country’s  Global Powerlifting alliance and World powerlifting congres.

3.ELIGIBILITY

Participating athletes: Teenagers: 13-15, 16-17; Juniors: 20-23; Open: 24-39; Sub-master: 39-40; I Master: 40-44; II Master: 45-49; III Master: 50-54; IV Master: 55-59.V Master 60-64; VI Master 65-69; VII Master 70-74; VIII Mater 75-79; IX Master 80.

4.DATE AND VENUE

Date and place:5-8 September 2016, Tbilisi, Georgia

Volleyball Palace

Accommodation:

HotelHUALING, Golden Palace, Bazaleti, White house.

Participants must accept accommodation in the hotel offered by the Organizing Committee for a minimum of 3 days.

•           Men's:52kg/56kg/65kg/67.5kg/75kg/82.5kg/90kg/100kg/110kg/125kg/140kg/+140kg

•           Women's: 44kg/48kg/52kg/56kg/60kg/67.5kg/75kg/82.5kg/90kg/100kg/+100kg

 

6.AWARDS

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the first three athletes in the powerlifting, benchpress deadlift and push-pull and the Total in each body weight category.

Trophies will be awarded to the best six teams in Total respectively for both women's and men's competitions

In accordance with the GPA/IPO&GPA-D Team Classification.

Best Lifter trophies will be awarded in both men's events.

7.BARBELL

The IPF approved only  squat bar and WERK-SAN barbells will be used in competitions and training.

Texas deadlift bar and Texas regular bar.

8.DEADLINES

Forms must be sent together with the passport copies before the following deadlines.

9.1.Preliminary Entry Form and Preliminary Accommodation and Transportation Forms: Not later than 10th July 2016.

9.2.Final Accommodation, Transportation  and Media Accreditation Forms:

Not later than10th July 2016.

9.3.Final Entry forms:

Not later than10th July 2016. 

9. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

Participation fee (including accommodation &meals):

-Single room: 140Euro per person /per night/ full board

-Double room: 120Euro per person /per night/ full board

-Triple room: 100 Euro per person/per night/full board

COMPETITION Entry Fee: 100USD, 90USD, 80USD, 70USD / person.

9.1. Payments can be made:

-by bank transfer–payment shall reach the Organizing Committee before 15th July 2015

9.2. Hotel „No-Show” charges:

If one or more delegation participants do not arrive on the date specified on the Final Accommodation and Transportation Form, and have not informed the Organizing Committee 10days before the arrival, the delegation must pay to the Organizing Committee, previously to the accreditation, the

Charge of “No-Show” per person.

This charge is required by the hotel for keeping the room available for each night and meals ordered. This charge is equal to the Participation Fee per person/per day. If one or more participants are delayed one or more days, the delegation must pay all the days specified in the Accommodation and Transportation Form sent (booked). Also, if a participant or full delegation does not come to the Championships, the delegation must send a bank transfer with the amount of Participation Fee of the entire period booked for the participant or the team, specified in the Accommodation and Transportation Form.

9.3.CANCELLATIONS, ADDITIONALBOOKINGS&CHANGES

After the 15th July 2016, should you require any additional hotel rooms the Organizers will use their

'bestefforts' to accommodate your additional team members in the same hotel as the other members of your team. However this cannot be guaranteed.

Between the15thJun -20thJuly2016 all payments for additional accommodation and accreditation must be paid by your federation by bank transfer upon receipt of a supplementary Invoice from the Organizers.

For any additional requests made after the 20th July2016,the accommodation and accreditation costs must be paid upon arrival in cash as detailed on the supplementary invoice from the Organizers. Important Note: No accommodation is guaranteed until the full payment is received.

10. METHOD OF PAYMENT

10.1. Wire Transfer (electronic transfer of money)

We kindly ask you to send, 10 days before of your arrival, the bank document that accredits the funds transfer, in order to validate with our bank.

We will offer neither accommodation nor a credit at onto any member of your delegation until we have received the fund into the bank account in Georgia. Please take the necessary pre cautions and do the wires transfer with anticipation

11. INSURANCE

All participating Federations must undertake full moral and financial responsibility of their registered/accredited delegates with regard to their health and wellness and incase of accidents or damages not attributable to the OC.

12.ACCREDITATION

13.FLAG AND  NATIONAL ANTHEM

We will provide all participants’ flags and anthems.

14.TRANSPORT

The Organizing Committee will provide transfer between Copernicus Airport Tbilisi/Railway Station and hotel, and return.

The Organizing Committee will provides hotel bus service between hotel and venues of competitions, training

And meetings.

Accommodation and Transportation Forms shall be returned to the Organizing Committee together with

Preliminary/Final Entry Forms.

15.VISAS

All participants shall apply for visas (if a visa is required)inthe Georgian Embassy in their own countries. A list of names(in WORD)with passport data and fax number or e-mail address should be sent to the Organizing Committee for the issuance of invitation.
